Adding Tasks to the Refinement Process

You and your refinement group may determine that additional actions should be taken prior to rating or making a recommendation on an idea. You can add Tasks to the refinement of an idea, using a project management approach.

To add a task to a refinement process:

  1. From the My Ideas page, click the hyperlink in the Title column for the idea you plan to refine.

  2. Review the summary, any attachments, and any peer reviews for the idea.

  3. Scroll past the list of Refinement Team members.

  4. In the Task List section, click the Add New Task button.

  5. Enter a Task Description.

  6. Type the name of the person to perform the task into the Assigned To field.

  7. If applicable, enter an amount in the % Complete field.

  8. Click the Save Changes hyperlink.

  9. To make changes to a task, click the Edit hyperlink.
